Your Story:
Caught behind enemy lines on a mission above and beyond the call of duty, Victoria Cross was imprisoned and forced to carry out scientific experiments for some unknown but evidently dark and terrible purpose. It wasn't until she'd suffered 4 long years of confinement that Miss Cross was presented with the opportunity to make her great escape. Donning her D.I.Y. skates (made from spatulas and test tube bungs strapped together with scraps of discarded copper wires) she made her bold bid for freedom, dodging searchlights and diving under razor wire fences only to be thwarted by 5 flights of stairs. Just when she thought all was lost and she was destined for a long spell in the cooler, the Birmingham Blitz Derby Dames came to her rescue and smuggled her back to dear old Blighty.

Likes:
Stiff upper lips, tales of heroic deeds, playing records in the dark, stone circles on the moors, reading tarot cards, folklore, ancient grimoires, drinking mead, motorbikes and leather jackets.

Dislikes:
Injustice, bad manners, airs and graces, reality TV.

Memorable Derby Moment:
Getting the opportunity to travel to Stuttgart and represent the Blitz Dames in Europe. We were made to feel really welcome and the atmosphere at the bout was electric - you could feel the crowd wincing with every hit! I never had to dig deeper during a bout than versus Glasgow Roller Girls (Quadrophenia) - we were short on players and had to fight for every point, but our team spirit and grit won the day (just)!
