Your Story:
I have always wanted to learn things I missed out on as a kid and always wanted to learn to skate (properly). I found the dames and haven't looked back. At times progress feels slow but, hey, its still progress and I have never been to a practise I didn't enjoy. I am now a skating granny. How cool is that?!

Likes:
Hanging out with the dames, watching roller derby, talking roller derby. You get the gist?! I have a positive outlook so like most things.

Dislikes:
Cliques, helmet hair.


Memorable Derby Moment:
Changes with each new experience, but to date it is the bout with LRG, watching the Dames giving it their all against a lean mean fighting machine. We lost by a massive margin but we did it with good grace and sportswomanship. The atmosphere was electric and all the Dames were smiling and held their heads high. I have never been more proud to be a Dame.
